I am a painter. I like to make things and I love the beach. I grew up in Memphis, TN in a very creative house hold, my mother teaches creativity, my father is in the hotel business and my two sisters are also in the arts, one is an architect the other a graphic designer. I graduated from RISD with a BFA in Painting and moved to New York after school to pursue my art in the city. I had a hankering to try out the west coast so I moved there and made paintings in a huge aircraft hanger and was able to work really large which was a turning point for me and my work. I moved back to New York but still work on large canvases in my studio in Dumbo. Since being in NYC I have started making wearable textiles and linen throws and also Jewelry. All of the products I make are sold at stores in NYC and LA.
