linen throws in action

a quick peak at my photo shoot

I did a really fun photo shoot of my products today with my friend Graham.  He and I went to RISD together and were also fortunate enough to spend a full year abroad in Rome. These pics he took with my camera but stay tuned for the real deal shots from his awesome professional camera.   yay for great photographers!

more patterns

I have been working on some patterns that are a little looser. I sort of attribute some of the inspiration for these to the music in my studio--been listening to a lot of Yellowbirds and also First Aid Kit. SO good. there's really nothing like good music in studio.  Oh and all of the names for the throws are below each picture, naming them is one of my favorite parts of the process.

below are some process shots of making prints for the linen throws. Thank you Mom, for coming to studio and taking these awesome shots!  This print is called "scallops for my love."  I have gotten really into naming each throw that I make, sort of like my paintings. 

Below is my tag. My intention is for these products to be an extension of my paintings and so its only right that I sign them the same way I sign my paintings.
